Reverse gear selection difficulty. Had a few issues selecting reverse gear when my vehicle's cold (2004 Mondeo, 2.0 litre TDci). What I propose to do is remove the gear selector mechanism to clean any suspected inner surface corrosion, and lubricate it. Question is, is there a gasket between the gear selector and transmission that will need
Enjoyable driver’s car. Our review found that Mondeo is a more involving and enjoyable driver’s car than most of its peers. Good chassis dynamics, accurate steering and well-balanced handling are complemented by a firm yet comfortably compliant ride. Rearward vision from the hatch is not great. close doors, put ignotion to number 2 (dashboard lights on if you have keyless start) Press both the brake and accelerator at the same time for about 20 seconds. a message will come up on the dash asking if you've services the oil, press OK on the wheel. job done. Apparently it's often down to an oversensitive sensor.
